Install OPENCTRL

OPENCTRL installs like an app, with its own icon and window, and opens straight to your Workspace. It's the same site, so there's nothing to download from a store.
How to install OPENCTRL

  1. iPhone & iPad (Safari)

    1. Open this site in Safari.
    2. Tap the Share button.
    3. Choose “Add to Home Screen”, then “Add”.

  2. Android (Chrome)

    1. Tap ⋮ in Chrome.
    2. Choose “Install app” (or “Add to Home screen”).

  3. Desktop (Chrome or Edge)

    1. Click the install icon at the right of the address bar, or ⋮ → “Install OPENCTRL…”.

  4. Mac (Safari, macOS Sonoma or later)

    1. Choose File → Add to Dock.

Bookmark, launch, install: what's the difference?

Add to Workspace
Bookmarks an app inside OPENCTRL so you can find and launch it fast. Nothing is installed.
Launch
Opens the app on its developer's website in a new tab. OPENCTRL never runs or frames other apps.
Install
Your browser or app store installs the app on your device. For web apps this happens on the developer's site, so OPENCTRL can't see or confirm it.
