What OPENCTRL is
OPENCTRL is a directory and community for software alternatives. Apps listed here are built and run by independent developers, not by OPENCTRL, unless the listing says otherwise.
Accounts
You're responsible for your account. Don't share your password, and don't use OPENCTRL to spam, impersonate others, or post unlawful content. We may suspend accounts that do.
Listings
Developers confirm their listings are accurate and that they have the right to publish the software. We review listings for accuracy before they go live, but we don't audit the software's security and aren't responsible for third-party apps.
Free listings
Listing an app on OPENCTRL is free. There are no listing fees.
Reviews and requests
Reviews must reflect your own experience. We may remove content that breaks these terms.
Trademarks
Product names are used to describe what an app replaces. OPENCTRL isn't affiliated with those products.
Changes
We'll update these terms as OPENCTRL grows and will note the date of the last change here.
